Chiru angry with Bhaskar

Music of Ram Charan’s Orange is out and the songs composed by Haaris Jayaraj have become instant hit. Yet, all is not well in the camp of Orange. For Megastar Chiranjeevi is not happy with the film’s director ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar. Chiranjeevi is angry with the director for escalating the production cost too much. The movie is regular romantic drama but the director is reportedly used about Rs 35 Crores as expenditure for this film, which is being produced by Chiru’s brother Naga Babu. So naturally Chiranjeevi is upset with the fact that the director has used lot of money for this love story, as most big hero’s romantic dramas don’t go beyond the Rs 20 Crores budget.

The unit has gone to Malaysia thrice and Australia twice. Even now, Ram Charan and Genelia are in Sydney for some important scenes and a song. But the director has given miss to it and is now looking after post-production work. Chiranjeevi reportedly scolded the director for ‘wasting money’ on re-shooting several scenes, going to same foreign locations twice or thrice, etc.

Cameramen (Kiran Reddy) was changed mid-way as Chiru scolded for excessive expenditure and Rajashekar (of Arya-2 fame) was brought in, yet the movie reportedly had gone overboard in budget.

Magadheera, a graphical extravaganza, was made at Rs 38 Crores and Orange costs Rs 35 Crores.
