Allu Arjun's Iddarammayilatho Review

Analysis: The title Iddarammayilatho is apt as the story revolves with two girls. Allu Arjun’s introduction was nice. Most of the movie happens in Spain, so the visuals are grand and well picturaized. Its a single line concept, and resembles the plot of Sivamani movie. Though script is very weak, direction was good. Keeping the punch dialogues aside they are not even much effective dialogues except 3-4 dialogues. Puri tried to give few smiles but he utterly failed in it. Comedy was a seperate track and it was completely weak. Action movie lovers loves the movie to the core as the movie contains very very stylish action scenes throughtout the movie. Allu Arjun has done good dance movements though they are very few considering to his previous movies. Conversation scenes between Allu Arjun and Brahmanandam are not that good and looks unneccessary.

Allu Arjun: Allu Arjun has done 100% justice to his tag Stylish Star. Looks very stylish in trendy costumes and has given a settled performance. The way of his acting was also very perfect and stylish at most of the scenes especially during fights.

Amala Paul: She was normal.
Catheirne Tresa: She has done a good performance included with the package of over–action. She looked glamorous.
Songs:  Songs are good. Violin song is extraordinary.

Fights:  Fights are one of the major highlights of the movie. New kind of style has been introduced  in tollywood with this kind of action sequences. It has shown a bigger positive impact on the movie. Fights are choreographed and picturaized very well.

Dialogues:  Dialogues are not that effective. Puri’s punch mark dialogues are missing.

Music:  Music was good. BGM was extraordinary during action sequences.

Highlights:
  • Songs,  Violin song and Run Run songs are extraordinary
  • Action Sequences with extraordinary BGM
  • Rich visuals and locations
  • Allu Arjun’s costumes and styling
  • Allu Arjun’s dance for Chiru’s Gang Leader song
Drawbacks:
  • Weak Comedy
  • Climax is not effective
  • Lack of strong script
  • Overall plot resembles with Sivamani movie
Rating: 2.5/5

Final Verdict: A Stylish Timepass Entertainer

Thadaka Review

Analysis: Both Nag Chaitanya and Sunil introductions were very normal. Movie begins with a song. Heroines are introduced by the end of the song. Though its a remake story the director have shown much interest on other areas like songs and action sequences. Songs and action sequences along with heroines glamour are the backbone elements of the movie. The screenplay is neither interesting nor boring. Ashutosh Rana's perforamance and his dialogues were excellent. Comedy is Ok.

Naga chaitanya: His acting has been improved after a long time. He was cool and tried to look stylish. Dialogue delivery was same as past.

Sunil: Sunil has done a good performance, but did not look like a hero.
Tamanna: She was very glamourous in the movie. She has a bit bigger role than Andrea. She has done a good job within her limitation and has no scope for performance.
Andrea Jeremiah: She has done a very short span of role. Looked glamorous.
Songs: Songs are good while watching.

Fights:  Fights have shown a very positive impact on the movie. Fights are choreographed very well.

Dialogues:  Dialogues are good.

Music:  Music was normal.

Highlights:
  • Songs, especially Nag Chaitanya’s and Tamanna’s ‘Mara O Mara’ song is nice
  • Action Sequences
  • Ashutosh Rana's perforamance
  • Direction
Drawbacks:
  • Few predictable scenes
Rating: 3/5

Venky's Shadow Review

Analysis:  The movie is not at all powerful as of the title. In the first 10mins of movie, one can predict the basic story of the entire movie. Even most of the scenes are predictable, senseless and illogical. Parody scene of GabbarSingh anthyakshari scene is wasted. This movie is completely a mixture of pale comedy, tearless sentiment and routine action with songs.

Venkatesh: Venkatesh performance is not upto the mark. Venkatesh acting as a child is utterly dissapointed. His hair style had a negative impact. It doesnt suit him at all. His costumes are good but most of them doesnt suit him.

Srikanth: His presence neither brought any positive nor negative impact. His dialogue delivery was weak.

Taapsee Pannu: She was glamourous. Her scope was limited to songs only.

Songs:  Songs are shot in rich locations, but not picturized much effectively.

Fights:  Fights are not effective at all. Very normal and routine.

Dialogues: Does not show any impact.

Music:  Music was loud and not soothing.

Highlights:
  • Rich production values
  • Comedy (M.S. Narayana, J.P.)
Drawbacks:
  • Predictable story line
  • Poor comedy by Venkatesh
  • Poor Sentiment
Rating: 1.75/5

Final Verdict:  Instead of this Shadow, watch your Shadow

Nithin's Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde Review

Analysis: The title itself says it’s a complete love story and it is. Entrance was normal. The movie lacks no hiccups and boring scenes. It’s interestingly picturized throughout the movie. The plot was very strong and came with a new idea. Linking of story with Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi movie scenes is brilliant. The remix song from Pawan Kalyan’s Tholiprema is major highlight of the movie and timing of the song was perfect. Story revolves around mainly 4 characters. Comedy is hilarious at few scenes though it went a bit vulgar. Dialogues were funny and short.

Nithin: His acting has been quite same since long time, and nothing great though he was improved a bit in his expressions. Nithin is usually a good dancer, but unfortunately he did a good number of steps for only one song. His dialogue delivery is normal. Nithin’s costumes are well-suited and look stylish.

Nithya Menon: She has done a fabulous performance and it was cool.

Songs:  Songs are very good, even though you are listening for the first time. Songs are picturized in good rich locations. But few songs could be choreographed much better. Jwala’s presence in the song is a big negative.

Fights:  Just 2 fight scenes, each of 1min. It was normal.

Dialogues:  Most of the dialogues are funny, straight and short.

Music:  Music was lovely and pleasant. It was not loud.

Highlights:
  • Remix song from Pawan kalyan’s Tholiprema ‘Yemaindho Yemo ee Vela
  • Comedy
  • Gripping story line
  • Music
Drawbacks:
  • Jwala Gutta’s presence in ‘Ding Ding Ding’ song and it could be picturized much better
  • Comedy scenes on gays
Rating: 3.25/5

Final Verdict: A complete YouthFULL Comedy Romantic Entertainer

Jr N.T.R.'s Baadshah Review

Jr. NTR's Baadshah(U/A) was one of the most awaited movie of the year. NTR fans expected it to be nothing less than a BlockBuster Hit....

Analysis: Baadshah title itself  is a very powerful title and it was shown in a powerful way with diamonds. Even the name of NTR on screen was shown with diamonds. It was nice. Enterance was very routine and  it was ok. Story is nothing new and great, and moreover it seems to be like the previous Sreenu Vytla's movies. 1st half first 40mins was completely entertaining and from there onwards it seems to be routine and goes normally, even feels like little bit boring at times until interval. Entire 1st half was shot in Italy which was visually very rich to see on screen. Especially the locations are highlight. 2nd half of the movie runs with nonstop entertainment and the comedy was very hilarious. Sreenu Vytla has utilized Brahmanandam to peaks. Seems like Brahamanandam occupies equal screen time with NTR in the second half. They are too many characters with short span of screen time.

Siddu's guest role was apt and worth. Mahesh's voice over was good in his style, though it was just for 3mins only. Navadeep role was not that great.

N.T.R. : NTR's performance is as usual, did a good decent performance. We can appreciate him for his good dance movements in almost all the songs and good dialogue delivery. This time NTR had made a lot of make over in his appereance, especially in his hair style and costumes which was very good to see him in this new look. NTR has done 3 shades of characterization and for one character he has used Telangana slang which was good. NTR this time even changed his dialogue delivery a bit, which was really very good, because generally he says dialogs in high pitch volume and in a hurry manner. But here the dialogs were gud and he said them in a slow and steady manner, with a bit of change in his voice modulation. Fights are very normal, nothing great about it. Overall NTR has done a good performance in action, fights, dance and comedy.

Kajal: Kajal is very glamourous in the movie. Though she had a less role, she had done a good job with a bit of comedy.

Songs: 1st three songs are simply superb to watch. Remaining three songs are average.

Fights: Normal

Dialogues: Superb

Music: Good, as if for all commercial movies.

Highlights:
  • Performances: NTR, Nassar, Brahamanandam
  • Good amount of Comedy (Brahmi, MS Narayana, Vennala Kishore)
  • NTR's Dance, especially his dance for Sr. NTR's songs
  • Dialogs
  • Rich visuals and locations
  • 3 Songs(Sairo Sairo, Diamond Girl, Baadshah)
Drawbacks:
  • Most of the scenes resembles to Sreenu Vytla's previous movies
  • Routine simple Story(1st half is normal) and few predictable scenes and climax
Rating: 3.5/5
