Mahesh's Upcoming movie with Krish titled as 'Sivam'

Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu is on his way of signing new films to turn out much busiest star in 2012.The latest news is that Mahesh Babu has signed up a new film in the direction of Krish.

Gamyam, Vedam fame director Krish (Gamyam,Vedam fame) has narrated a story line which impressed Mahesh very much and given his nod for the film. Mahesh Babu-Krish's new film is also tentatively titled as Sivam and the movie is said to be launched officially on 9th August 2012.Mahesh Babu-Krish's commericial entertainer film will be produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

We have already reported that Mahesh Babu has given his nod for a film in the direction of Sukumar which is said to be kick start its shooting from 2012 March.

Right Now Mahesh Babu is busy in the regular shooting of Puri Jagannadh's The Businessman and recently he wrapped the shooting of Dookudu which is slated to hit the big screens on Sep 23rd.

Tollywood Turns 80

Eighty years  of Telugu film industry was on Thursday celebrated by Tollywood at a simple function in Film Nagar with stalwarts of the industry paying glowing tributes to the founder fathers of the industry.

MAA (Movie Artistes Association) President, Murali Mohan, veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao were among the galaxy of film personalities who gathered on occasion.

It was on September 15, 1931 that the first Telugu film "Bhakta Prahlada" was released. The film was given shape by HM Reddy. In the pioneering years, it was HM Reddy, Goodavalli Ramarahmam, Raghupathi Venkiah, C Pullaiah who paved way for the Telugu film industry which has grown in leaps and bounds and holds the record of producing maximum number of pictures in a year and has emerged as the biggest industry after Hollywood and Bollywood.

Telugu Cinema has completed 80 glorious and eventful years. In the eight decades, Telugu Film industry produced about 5000 movies and many classics, and strengthened its name as one of the few film industries that makes large number of films every year in the world. H M Reddy's Bhakta Prahlada was the first talkie movie made in Telugu language and that was released on September 15, 1931.

Mankatha Dubbing in Telugu

'Thala’ Ajith’s big film ‘Mankatha’ will be dubbed in Telugu too to entertain the film fans of Telugu land.Multidimension films has acquired the rights of the Telugu version of the film. But, it is not sure whether the film will be released in Telugu on the same day of its Tamil release. But, work is on to release it simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

It is reported that the rights have been sold to a whooping sum as the film has a good presence of stars who could command the popularity in Telugu land too. Arjun, Trisha and Vaibhav Reddy have a big fan following in Tollywood land. ‘Thala’ Ajith also has his fan following in Andhra Pradesh. So, it is strongly believed that this Venkat Prabhu directed will rock the Telugu land too!

Venkatesh's Bodyguard First Look

The first look of Venkatesh's upcoming film tentatively titled 'Ganga-The Bodyguard' has been released on the occasion of the actor successfully completing 25 years of film career on August 14th.

This film is a remake of Malayalam super hit 'Bodyguard'. Venkatesh plays the role of a Bodyguard in the film. Trisha is paired opposite Venkatesh for the third time. Saloni plays a pivotal role in the film. The film is in the last leg of production and is slated for release during Dussehra.

Bodyguard Story:

Venkatesh will be appointed as bodyguard of Trisha. He takes his role as bodyguard very seriously and follows Trisha wherever she goes. Trisha gets irritated with him following her all day.

In an attempt to get rid of him, Trisha and Saloni make up a 'fake lover' hoping to distract Venky from his duties as a bodyguard. It works! Venkatesh falls in love with the girl who talks to him over phone. He has no idea that his lover is Trisha.

Trisha, as a joke, calls Venkatesh and speaks badly about Trisha. Venkatesh gets a little angry and disagrees with her. He believes Trisha is a good-hearted person. That's when Trisha falls in love with Venkatesh.

Trisha, later tells Venkatesh to run away with her and meet her at a railway station. Venkatesh agrees, not knowing that the girl is Trisha. Trisha's father finds out that Venkatesh and his daughter are planning to run away together.

In order to save Venkatesh's life, Trisha lies that she is not the girl who loved Venky. Trisha's father lets Venky go, but tells his men to kill him if a girl does not show up at the railway station. Terrified, Trisha sends her friend, Saloni, to the station and asks her to tell Venky that Trisha is the lover and she won't be able to make it to the station. Saloni, seeing Venky, falls in love, and admits that she is the lover, not Trisha. Trisha calls her twice, but Saloni throws the cellphone out, trying to erase Trisha out of their love life completely.

After marriage with Venkatesh, Saloni delivers a baby boy. Before her death, Saloni leaves a diary for her son telling the whole story between the phone calls and his father and Trisha. The son later goes to Trisha's house with Venkatesh. Venky is shocked to know Trisha isn't married yet. The son asks Trisha to become his mother and Venkatesh who is still not aware of the actual story, turns angry at his son. Even Trisha's father begs Venky to marry her daughter. Finally, Venkatesh finds the diary and realizes that Trisha is his real lover. And they live happily ever after.

Siddhu's new movie Sri Sri

After 180, Tamil-Telugu hero Siddharth has signed a new project under the direction of Ramesh Varma, who earlier directed Ride and Veera.
According to sources, the film has been titled Sri Sri and Kajal Aggarwal will be the heroine. This is the first time Kajal is pairing up with Siddharth and it is her second film with director Ramesh Varma (the first being Veera).
Said to be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Sri Sri will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. The movie will hit the floors on July 30. More details are awaited.

Jagapati Babu's new movie 'Key' - Is an hollywood movie 'Exam'

This movie is the story of a  hollywood movie "Exam"  released in the year 2009.

Synopsis of the movie: Eight talented candidates have reached the final stage of selection to join the ranks of a mysterious and powerful corporation. Entering a windowless room, where an armed guard keeps watch, they are given 80 minutes to answer one simple question.

The invigilator outlines three very specific rules that they must obey – and if they don’t, they will be disqualified:

1. They must not speak to the invigilator or the guard.
2. They must not spoil their papers.
3. They must not leave the room.

The invigilator starts the clock and leaves.

The candidates turn over their question papers, only to find that they are completely blank.

After the initial confusion has subsided, one frustrated candidate writes 'I believe I deserve...,' and is promptly ejected for spoiling. The remaining candidates soon figure out they're permitted to talk to each other, and they agree to cooperate in order to figure out the question: then they can compete to answer it. At first they suspect the question may be hidden in their papers like a security marker in a credit card, and they figure out ways to change their environment to expose the hidden words. But light, liquids and other plans all come to naught. Soon enough, the candidates begin to uncover each other's background, prejudices and hidden agendas.

Tensions rise as the clock counts down to zero, and each candidate must decide how far they are prepared to go to win the ultimate job.

Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao’s 150th venture ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ starring Nata Simha Balakrishna in the lead role is in the final leg of completion.

Balakrishna is playing a dual role in the film - one as an army major and the other as an actor. Also, he will appear in several getups and one of them is the Telangana revolutionary leader Komaram Bheem.

‘Parama Veera Chakra’ has three heroines – Amisha Patel, Sheela and Neha Dhupia. Kalyani will appear in a key role. Well known producer C Kalyan is producing the film.

Music is composed by Mani Sharma. Film’s other star cast includes Rajpremi, Kota Sreenivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Nagineedu, Ali, Hema, Krishna Bhagavan and Raghu Babu.
