How to Speed Up Folder Access

How to speed up folder access on your computer. Why you need to speed up folder access? In my opinion, you need to do that if you have a lot of folders and sub directories on your computer. Because when you access a directory, your windows system will wastes a lot of time updating the stamp showing the last access time for that directory. So you need to disable access update to stop your computer from doing this. Follow these steps to speed up folder access by disable access update on your computer.

1. Click on RUN, type Regedit in the open box and then click "OK".

2. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control > FileSystem

3. Create new DWORD Value called NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate by right-click in a blank area of the window on the right and then select DWORD Value.

Watermelon Dosa

Ingredients:

* Grated water melon – 2 cups
* Sona masuri raw rice – 2 cups
* Fresh grated coconut – 1/2 cup
* Chopped jaggery – As per taste (i have added 1/2 cup)
* Salt – to taste (i have added 1/8th spoon)

Preparation:

* Wash Sona Masuri rice and drain water. Wash and peal watermelon and just grate the upper red pulpy and juicy portion of the fruit. Soak washed sona masuri rice in it as shown in the image 2 for about 2 hours. If the juice is not sufficient to soak rice one can add normal water to it.
* Grind soaked rice with fresh grated coconut in the grinder adding required quantity of water in steps to a very fine and thin consistency. Add required quantity of chopped jaggery and also a pinch of salt to it. Allow it to ferment overnight  for around 8-10 hours. (Make the batter very thin adding around 3-4 glasses of extra water so that the batter should be a free fall from the spatula and  on fermenting the next day it will be fine.)
* Place a dosa skillet on medium flame with a teaspoon of pure ghee on it. On melting pour a tablespoon of the dough on it. Close it with a lid.
* When closed with a lid dosa is done and one can see it being done fluffy and with a lot of holes on it.
*  Serve hot with pure ghee and the chutney powder of your choice.

Oondi

Cuisine: Coastal Karnataka

Type: Vegetarian

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

* 1.5 cup rice (wash rice and soak in water overnight or for 2 hours)
* 1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tbsp oil
* Salt to taste
* Sprig of curry leaves
* 1/2 tsp mustard
* 1/4 tbsp methi

Preparation:

* Grind rice with the grated coconut and salt, till the rice is as fine as rava granules. Add minimum water while grinding just to make it a thick paste (like thick dosa batter). Set aside.
* Heat oil in a pan, then add mustard. Once mustard splutters, add methi (this is for a tinge of bitter taste only) and curry leaves. Now add the ground rice paste and keep stirring till its water content is such that a small ladoo can be made out of it.
* Remove from flame and roll small ladoos of the paste, making a small depression in the center of each.
* Use an idli stand to steam the ladoos on the stove for 15 minutes.
* Oondis can be served hot with chutney or jaggery syrup for kids. It's a good breakfast item, easy to prepare. This preparation makes around 12-15 oondis, maybe enough for 2 people

Health quotient: It contains less oil and is hence healthy.
