Vikram has become the first actor in the world to play two diametrically opposite roles in two versions of the same film! In Mani Ratnam's Raavana in Hindi, Vikram plays Dev the police officer in search of his wife Aishwarya Rai who has been kidnapped by the anti-hero Abhishek Bachchan. While in the Tamil version Raavanan he does a role reversal and does the anti hero role! Nobody in world cinema has done this unique role reversal in two versions of the same film. The buzz around Vikram is getting bigger in Bollywood, as the star has got over 50 calls from North Indian television and print journalists for "exclusive interviews".
